Comment: This is a main list server executable archive v4.

It includes DOPOP3 import, DOSMTP Export, the IIS web Interface and the documentation in Word format. You need pkzip or Winzip to open the archive, then run the installer. It contains template files in french, english, japanese, spanish, russian, brasilian, deutsch, polish and italian.
If you have created templates in another language, feel free to send it to us, they will be included in the next release.

The Interface allows you to manage and create Dolist servers and lists directly from the web. It works only on Microsoft IIS 4+ servers.

		DOWNLOADING THE E-MAIL SERVER IMPORT MODULE

The generic import protocol is POP3. If you are running a specific e-mail server listed hereunder, you will need to download its specific import interface instead of the generic one.
If your e-mail server is not listed yet, and if you are a programmer, you can design a e-mail import interface by yourself (see manual).

It will let you use DOLIST with any servers (Sendmail, MS Exchange, MDaemon, NTMail, and all servers on all platforms) that handle a POP3 interface. You just need to run DOLIST on a WIN95/98/NT/2000 Machine in your domain.

		DOWNLOADING MICROSOFT UNIVERSAL DATA ACCESS

Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) is a widely accepted application programming interface (API) for database access. It is based on the Call-Level Interface (CLI) specifications from X/Open and ISO/IEC for database APIs and uses Structured Query Language (SQL) as its database access language.
If you don't have Data Access (ODBC) installed, get it and install it before starting Dolist E-Mail List Server.

EXTERNAL E-MAIL PLUGINS

Dolist can run external programs to make specific processes on incoming/outgoing mail. Plugins are small programs that interface with Dolist. Source code is provided so you can develop your own plugins for some specific task, and publish them here if needed.

Domain checking plugin

Anti HTML plugin

Comment: This plugin will allow DOLIST to return an error msg if the message contains ANY html codes.
This will prevent any HTML messages to be posted on lists, as most of the users cannot read them.It is based on content-type: text/html checking. Read carefully p_antihtml_doc.txt for more informations.

Domain MX Record validation plugin

HTMLFILTER plugin

Comment: This input plugin will allow messages that come for robot to be filtered for HTML code and permit a better parsing via the DOLIST command processor. It could be used for list, but all tags are not suppressed.
C/C++ Sources are provided with this plugin.
